In this webinar, titled Four Decades of Special Education Reading Instruction: Lessons Learned from a Career of Implementing Reading Practices in a Large Urban School District, Barbara Wilmarth, Instructional Staff Developer, Exceptional Student Education (ESE) for Pinellas County Schools in Florida, will highlight how the implementation of process-based reading instruction changed student performance and how she helped build structures to ensure instructional fidelity in a large urban school district. A special educator for 38 years, Barbara will discuss the evolution of reading instruction for special education students throughout her career.
