A Message from Lindamood-Bell’s CEO
A Message from Nanci Bell, Lindamood-Bell CEO
As the global effect of coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, Lindamood-Bell is firmly committed to the health and safety of our students, our clients, and our staff. We have met the challenge quickly so we can continue to serve our clients and provide employment for our loyal and dedicated employees.
We put online instruction and virtual teacher support in place many years ago—and we researched its effectiveness to ensure we could deliver quality instruction and services. We are ahead of the trend.
Because of this we immediately and confidently transitioned most of our Learning Center and Lindamood-Bell Academy students to online instruction and curriculum in their home. We successfully shifted our professional development workshops and coaching to an online format.
I am happy to say that many of our employees are now working from home, and additional paid sick and vacation time has been made available to them. While the circumstances continue to change and we modify our operations as necessary, we thank you for your patience and cooperation.
We are closely monitoring the changing situation, and complying with public health guidance. As new developments occur, be assured we are committed to taking care of our clients and employees and we are committed to our mission of providing evidence-based literacy instruction and professional development that enables all individuals to learn to their potential.
I want to extend our sincere thanks to Lindamood-Bell clients and employees for their ongoing support and dedication during this challenging time.
All the best,
Co-founder and CEO
