In this webinar, titled Professional Development at Rock Hill Schools: An Innovative Dyslexia Initiative, Peter Kosko, Assistant Director, Exceptional Student Education at Rock Hill Schools in South Carolina, will discuss Rock Hill’s experience implementing Lindamood-Bell professional development for all Special Education teachers across an 18,000 student district.
Mr. Kosko will discuss why the district chose sensory-cognitive literacy instruction, the lessons learned during roll-out, and how the implementation is changing in response to state dyslexia legislation.
Participants will leave this webinar with an understanding of the challenges of implementing a new reading initiative and specific steps they can take to increase the likelihood of student success.
