Whether your child is taking the NAPLAN this year, is struggling with learning, or just needs school to be easier, we can help improve their skills and confidence.

Our evidence-based instruction is available live-online or in person. In a matter of weeks, we help students catch up or get ahead in the literacy and numeracy skills needed for the NAPLAN exam and future school success.

Enrichment at Lindamood-Bell

Students looking to enhance or accelerate learning can benefit from our expertise in specific areas, such as writing, study skills, and test-taking. Students can attend an enrichment program to advance their reading comprehension or math skills.

Get the Imagery-Language Foundation

Students who struggle in school and on tests like NAPLAN may have an unidentified weakness or weaknesses affecting learning. Students with poor comprehension, critical thinking, writing, or memory may have weak concept imagery—the ability to create an imagined gestalt (whole) from language. Students who are poor decoders, spellers, or slow readers may have weak symbol imagery—the ability to visualize letters in words. These difficulties are frustrating for students and can prevent them from accessing the school curriculum.

Our unique, personalized instruction can make a difference. Students can make years of progress in just a matter of weeks, attending either online or at the Learning Center. We offer:

Identifying strengths and challenges is the first step toward helping your child successfully finish the school year. A learning evaluation will uncover strengths and weaknesses that affect schoolwork. We will discuss the results in a thorough consultation and present our individualized learning plan to make school easier.

📖 1986: Nanci Bell publishes Visualizing and Verbalizing®

The same year Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes was founded, co-founder Nanci Bell published Visualizing and Verbalizing for Language Comprehension and Thinking®, introducing an approach designed to develop concept imagery, the ability to create an imaged gestalt from language.

The program grew from Nanci’s work with students who could read words but struggled to understand, remember, and think critically about what they read.
Today, Visualizing and Verbalizing® remains central to our approach to developing language comprehension and higher-order thinking skills.
