A teen and her mom each talk about her life-long struggles with school. Things started turning around when she got the unique help she needed. She learned how to visualize the language she was reading and hearing.
There are individual differences in the ability to visualize language—a key to good comprehension and thinking skills. We teach students how to “see movies when they read,” so they will get the big picture. Improving this skill can make many aspects of school easier.
