Workshops Credit

Credit Information

Earn CEUs that Make a Difference for Students!
Lindamood-Bell offers Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and Post-Graduate Professional Development credit for the successful completion of Lindamood-Bell® workshops. All participants who complete a workshop will receive complimentary Lindamood-Bell CEUs. Post-Graduate Professional Development credit, through our partnering university, Brandman University (Chapman University System), is available at an additional cost.

Please check with your licensing board, accrediting agency, or human resources department to verify their acceptance of these credit types prior to attending a workshop.

Credits for Speech Language Pathologists
ASHA will accept Lindamood-Bell CEUs for Certification Maintenance Hours. For more information, see ASHA’s CMH activity guidelines here.

Credits for Educators
Please check with your state board of education, agency, district, or school for up-to-date requirements and documentation for professional development plans and/or licensure renewal credits.

The following information has been provided for reference. Please verify acceptance of Lindamood-Bell CEUs prior to attending a workshop.

Alabama – Participants will receive CEUs. For additional information or questions, please contact your district central office.

Alaska – Participants may complete the Non-Academic Pre-approval Form, prior to attending a workshop, to request credit from the state education department.

Arizona – Participants may submit a copy of their attendance letter or transcripts from Brandman to the state licensure board.  Lindamood-Bell has been approved as a School Improvement District Turnaround provider.

California – Participants may check with their district/agency for pre-approval regarding their professional development plan. There is no professional development credit currently required for licensure.

Colorado – Participants who complete a workshop may submit a copy of their attendance letter to the state board to use toward the renewal of a professional license. Lindamood-Bell has been approved as a Turnaround provider and READ Act Intervention & Professional Development Programs provider.

Connecticut – Participants may check with their district/agency for pre-approval regarding their professional development plan. There is no professional development credit currently required for licensure.

Delaware – Participants may check with their district regarding if CEUs are accepted for contact hours.

Florida – Participants may check with their district regarding submitting their attendance letter and workshop agenda for service points. Your district may accept the master inservice points issued by Brandman University for the educator certificate renewal requirement of 1 semester hour in teaching students with disabilities.

Illinois – Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes is an approved provider for CEUs and CPDUs through January 2015.

Kansas – Participants may check with their local Professional Development Councils regarding submitting their attendance letter and workshop agenda for credit.

Kentucky – Participants may check with their district/agency for pre-approval regarding their professional development plan. There is no professional development credit currently required for licensure.

Louisiana – Participants may check with their district/agency for pre-approval regarding their professional development plan. There is no professional development credit currently required for licensure.

Maine – Participants may submit a copy of their attendance letter to the state department of education for state level CEUs.

Massachusetts – Participants may contact the state Professional Development department prior to attending a workshop regarding acceptance of CEUs for Professional Development Points (PDP). (Previous participants have successfully submitted CEUs and/or PD credits for PDP.)

Michigan – On-site workshops may be sponsored by the local ISD for SCECH.

Missouri – Participants may submit transcripts from Brandman University for credit toward certificate renewal. Participants may contact their local district to request CEUs be accepted toward their annual professional development plan.

New Mexico – Participants may check with their district/agency for pre-approval regarding their professional development plan. There is no professional development credit currently required for licensure.

New York – Participants employed by NY Public Schools should check with their district for approved professional development. Private educators may log hours and information into the TEACH online system.

North Carolina – Participants may submit a copy of their attendance letter to their principal or district for approval in the areas of Basic Literacy Skills and NC Teaching Standards II, III, and IV.

Ohio – Participants may contact their LPDC to request approval of CEUs for contact hours. Lindamood-Bell is an approved External Support Provider.

Pennsylvania – Participants may check with their school district for approval of credit.

Rhode Island – Participants may check with their district/agency for pre-approval regarding their professional development plan. There is no PD credit currently required for licensure.

Texas – Participants may check with their school district for approval of credit.

Wisconsin – Participants may check with their PDP team for approval in applying CEUs toward their professional development plan. CEUs are not required for state license renewal.

Wyoming – Participants may submit a copy of their attendance letter and complete the Individual Request for Credit Form within 30 days of attending a workshop.
