Learn More About Our Instruction

Our instruction helps a wide range of individuals, children & adults, by developing the language processing
that is critical to becoming a proficient learner.

Problem

Difficulty with reading words on the page, recognizing sight words, reading fluency, and spelling. Students with these symptoms may be labeled as dyslexic.

Solution

Establish the underlying skills of symbol imagery, phoneme awareness, and orthographic processing.

Problem

Difficulty with understanding, remembering, inferring, following directions, and critical thinking from written and oral material.

Solution

Develop concept imagery to create mental representations for oral and written language. (Like making a movie in your mind’s eye.)

Problem

Difficulty holding math facts, functional concepts, weakness with word problem solving skills.

Solution

Apply symbol and concept imagery to arithmetic and mathematical reasoning. This improves computational skills and the ability to solve word problems.

Our Goal is to Change Lives

Our goal is to empower students with the skills to learn how to learn, fostering lifelong learning. Our unique, evidence-based instruction focuses on developing the sensory-cognitive processes critical for all learning. We conduct a comprehensive Learning Ability Evaluation to pinpoint each student’s strengths and areas for growth, enabling us to personalize instruction and maximize their learning potential.

The Learning Center Experience

At our Learning Center, students are supported in a way that is positive and enjoyable.

A Fun and Engaging Learning Environment

We know that learning should be fun, so we’ve built excitement into every part of the Learning Center experience. From Wacky Wednesdays, where students can get silly and creative, to Magical Learning Moments, where milestones are celebrated with joy, we make sure that every day is special. Our Hooray for You celebrations recognize individual achievements, making every student feel proud of their progress.

Motivation Through Activities and Games

Motivation is key to effective learning, and we keep students at our Learning Centers engaged through a variety of games and activities. Students earn learning gems for their accomplishments, use punch cards to track their progress, and engage with interactive digital game slides that turn learning into a playful experience. These tools not only make learning fun but also keep students motivated to reach their goals.

At our Learning Center, education is an adventure, and we’re here to make the journey exciting and rewarding for every student.

“Michael has finally made great progress and has even gained noticeable self-confidence. The staff is the best part of the Learning Center. They are so accommodating, understanding, and supportive. My son has developed relationships with his teachers and looks forward, for the first time, to going to school.”

~ a Learning Center parent

“The Learning Center is an amazing experience. At first, we were apprehensive that the rigorous daily sessions would be overwhelming for our daughter, but she woke up on her own every morning, excited to go learn. The teachers and staff made her feel special and she graduated with not only improved skills but a personal confidence we had never seen. Thank you to everyone at the Learning Center who inspired our daughter this summer!”
